Genting Hong Kong Raised HK$3 million for Southern Philippines storm victims
Hong Kong – To alleviate the devastation caused by Tropical Storm Sendong in Southern Philippines, Genting Hong Kong has initiated a company-wide donation drive and to date raised HK$3 million for the storm victims.
Led by Chairman and CEO Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, donations came from Genting Hong Kong, Star Cruises Asia and Norwegian Cruise Line. The companies, as well as their management, employees and crew made donations to express their care and concern for the victims and their families.
Donations were submitted to ABS-CBN Foundation, INC, a nation-wide charity body in the Philippines that is orchestrating relief efforts for the affected regions.
