Limited, formerly known as Star Cruises Limited, is a leader in leisure,
entertainment and hospitality in the region, with offerings as diverse as luxury
cruises, land-based integrated adventure resorts, budget hotels and other
tourism-related activities.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, Genting Hong Kong has presence in more than 20
locations worldwide with offices and representation in Australia, China, India,
Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore,
Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the
United States.
Genting Hong Kong is listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and
traded on the Quotation and Execution System for Trading of the Singapore
Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
Amongst Genting Hong Kong’s principle businesses is luxury cruise and cruise
related activities under the Star Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)
brands. Star Cruises together with NCL is the third largest cruise operator in
the world with a combined fleet of 16 ships cruising to over 200 destinations
worldwide, offering close to 30,000 lower berths.
Genting Hong Kong is leveraging the Genting Group’s expertise in land-based
resorts development and management with Resorts World Manila. Resorts World
Manila is Genting Hong Kong’s first foray in land-based attractions that was
opened to the public in August 2009. Resorts World Manila is a flagship
integrated leisure and entertainment complex featuring three hotels, including
the six-star all-suite Maxims Hotel, an iconic shopping mall, four high-end
cinemas, and a multi-purpose performing arts theatre.
Genting Hong Kong has also invested in the Genting-Star Tourism Academy, a
hospitality school and two budget hotels called My Inn.
